This is an awesome kugel - not too hard to make - and everyone LOVES it! It is just different enough from the "usual" kugel to keep people asking for it again and again.
4½ cup water
1 cup sugar
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp salt
1 stick of margarine
3 Tbsp oil
3 Tbsp packed brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
16 oz fine noodles
Let water, sugar, pepper, salt, margarine, oil and brown sugar boil for one minute. Add noodles and let simmer for 15 minutes.
Add beaten eggs after 15 minutes. (Preheat oven to 350*F. Grease round pan.) Let simmer additional 5 minutes.
Pour mixture into well greased round pan. (I like to use a bundt pan for this kugel.) Place in oven and bake for 1 hour.
Remove from oven and pan. Let cool slightly. Slice and serve.
