INGREDIENTS













  • 4 cup lukewarm-hot water










  • 3 packages dry yeast










  • 1.5 cup honey










  • 1 cup oil










  • 2 Tbsp salt










  • 4 eggs










  • 2.5 cup oatmeal










  • 5 lb whole spelt flour










  1. Mix water, yeast and honey and let stand until it bubbles



  2. Add yeast mixture to remaining ingredients. You may not need a full 5 lbs. of flour. Add until you have a good non-sticky consistency.



  3. Knead for 7-10 minutes.



  4. Cover with towel and allow to rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk.



  5. Shape bread and allow to rise for another 20 minutes.



  6. Brush with egg and drizzle with honey and oatmeal.



  7. Bake at 350 for approximately 25 minutes.
