This kugel is different from any other I've ever seen. It tastes great and can be a welcome change from your typical lokshen and potato kugels.
1 package of puff pastry, divided
1 bag of coleslaw
1 Tbsp oil
3 Tbsp flour
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
Roll and press puff pastry on the bottom of your baking pan. Reserve some puff pastry to later create lattice strips on the top of the kugel.
Saute the onion and coleslaw in oil until soft.
Add the eggs, flour, salt and pepper and mix well.
Transfer to prepared pan. Cut strips of reserved puff pastry and place strips in a lattice style across the top.
Bake at 350℉ for 45 minutes.
