These are easy to make and can be made with real rum or rum extract. Very pretty for simchas
¾ can of graham cracker crumbs (about 8 oz crushed)
½ cup sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa (the darker the better)
½ cup water
2 Tbsp rum or rum extract
2 Tbsp margarine
1 cup sprinkles
Place graham cracker crumbs in bowl.
Mix sugar, cocoa and water in a small pot. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from flame, add rum and margarine. Mix until margarine is melted.
Pour mixture over graham cracker crumbs and mix well until crumbs are coated and mixture seems thick enough to form into balls (add more if necessary)
Form into small balls (I like to do 1/2"). Roll in sprinkles. Store in either fridge or freezer.
