INGREDIENTS













  • 20 pears, peeled with stem left on. Slice off bottom










  • ½ cup sweet red wine










  • 1 red jello










  • 1 water to cover in pot










  • 1 pinch red food coloring










  • ¼ cup sugar










  • ½ tsp cinnamon










  1. bring all ingredients except for pears to boil in a large pot



  2. add pears, standing up



  3. cook on low flame for 40 minutes (covered) till red and soft
