This yummy chicken soup is a family favorite. I make matzo balls straight into the pot and my kids love it!
2 chicken bottoms, skin removed
⅓ bunch parsley
1 parsnip, cut into 1 inch pieces
3 carrots, cut into 1-2 inch round pieces
1 zucchini, cut into 1 inch round pieces
1 whole onion, peeled
5 Tbsp osem chicken soup consomme
8-10 cup water
Place all ingredients into a 5 quart pot. Fill with water until there's only 1/4 inch to the top of the pot.
Bring to a boil then simmer x 4 hours.
Can make matzo balls directly into the pot.
