This is quite a big batter. It can make about 50 cupcakes, 2 bundt pans or any other combination you'd like. I personally like to use it for birthday cakes as chocolate can go with any filling and since the cakes come out high, they look really beautiful iced.

INGREDIENTS













  • 4 cup flour










  • 3 cup sugar










  • 3 tsp baking soda










  • 3 tsp baking powder










  • 1½ cup oil










  • 1 cup cocoa










  • 2 tsp coffee dissolved in










  • 2 cup water










  • 4 eggs










  • 1 tsp vanilla










  1. Mix all the ingredients together and mix it well.



  2. Bake at 350* for 50-60 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean.



  3. Bake for no more than 20 minutes for cupcakes.

This recipe is the one my mother always made when I was growing up. When I saw this recipe I had to make it....a taste of nostalgia.
