An absolutely delicious and mouthwatering recipe! I pulled this recipe out of a local magazine. WOW! It is a great and easy recipe. I made this with spare ribs but it can be made with any kind of meat. It is moist and so very tender. The family loved it! It also freezes very well.

RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
10 spare ribs or short ribs
1 Tbsp oil
1 small onion diced
1 garlic clove minced-fresh or frozen
1 cup water
½ cup white wine
- sauce:
¾ cup apricot jam
2 Tbsp mustard
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 clove garlic
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp paprika
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tsp chicken soup mix
2 Tbsp any BBQ seasoning
Saute onion and garlic in oil in pot until soft. Add ribs and quick fry on all sides for 2 minutes. Add wine and water and cook for 2 hours- or if you prefer you can also bake it in oven for 21/2 hours on 375. Place in oven after you quick fry and add wine and water to pot.
Place all ingredients for sauce in saucepan. Blend with hand blender until smooth. Heat over medium heat until bubble and a little thick-about 5 minutes.
Take cooked or baked ribs and place in clean pan. Glaze with the sauce. This can be frozen. When reheating glaze over again.
