This recipe is a real winner! I get phone calls for it all the time. It's really simple to make and tastes fabulous! You can make it as a pie or in individual ramekins. The only drawback is that it needs to be baked fresh. Remove it from the oven, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and voila - one fabulous dessert!
1½ cup flour
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking soda
1 (4 oz) stick of margarine
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
Cream margarine and sugar. Add the eggs.
Add the dry ingredients.
Add chocolate chips at the end.
I scoop out the dough into ramekins now and place it in the freezer. You can make it as a pie as well.
Twenty minutes before you are ready to serve bake it at 350. (A pie would need longer.) Watch it carefully as some ovens work differently. Don't over-bake it!
Add vanilla ice cream on top and serve! Watch the ramekins though they stay quite hot!
