2¼ tsp yeast
1½ cup warm water
1 tsp sugar
2½ tsp salt
4 cup flour
Let the yeast rise in the warm water in a large bowl.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the yeast mixture. Knead until thoroughly mixed.
Let it rise in an oiled bowl for 1-1 1/2 hours
Shape the dough into fat logs.
Brush with water.
Let it rise for another 20-30 minutes.
Bake at 475 for 20-25 minutes
