
This easy beef recipe works for any cut of brisket or roast. The sauce is so delicious your guests will be lapping it up!

INGREDIENTS
4 lb beef roast/brisket
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
½ cup water
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
2 onions, minced
2 garlic cloves
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp mustard
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup tomato sauce
¼ cup vinegar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
1 tsp chili powder (optional)
Layer onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the meat, cover with remaining ingredients.
Cook on low 8-10hrs or on high 4-6hrs.
To prepare in oven: bake at 300degrees F for 4-6 hours.
Serve on buns as shredded BBQ beef or slice cold & reheat for brisket.
