Almonds are a rich source of Vitamin E, contains practically no carbohydrates also rich in monounsaturated fat, one of the two “good” fats responsible for lowering LDL cholesterol. It improves complexion and prevents cancer.It is considered a nutritive for brain and nervous system. It is said to induce high intellectual level and longevity. Recent studies have shown that the constituents of almond have anti-inflammatory, immunity boosting and anti-hepatotoxity effects.

INGREDIENTS













  • 250 gram almonds (soaked for 8 hours and peeled)










  • 2 cup sugar










  • 1 cup ghee










  • 2 Tbsp chopped nuts










  • ½ tsp saffron (soaked in 1 tsp warm almond milk)










  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder










  • ½ tsp yellow color










  • 1 tsp lemon juice










  • 4 Tbsp silvered almonds










  1. Grind almond to a fine paste.



  2. Make syrup with sugar and 2 tbsps water and 1/2 tsp lemon juice till 1 thread consistency.



  3. Add almond paste and mix well and keep stirring



  4. Add saffron with almond milk, yellow color, chopped nuts, cardamom powder and 1/2 tsp lemon juice.



  5. Grease a plate and pour the mixture and spread it evenly and decorate with almond silvers.



  6. While still warm, cut into squares or dimond shape.



  7. Cool and enjoy
