INGREDIENTS
250 gram almonds (soaked for 8 hours and peeled)
2 cup sugar
1 cup ghee
2 Tbsp chopped nuts
½ tsp saffron (soaked in 1 tsp warm almond milk)
¼ tsp cardamom powder
½ tsp yellow color
1 tsp lemon juice
4 Tbsp silvered almonds
Grind almond to a fine paste.
Make syrup with sugar and 2 tbsps water and 1/2 tsp lemon juice till 1 thread consistency.
Add almond paste and mix well and keep stirring
Add saffron with almond milk, yellow color, chopped nuts, cardamom powder and 1/2 tsp lemon juice.
Grease a plate and pour the mixture and spread it evenly and decorate with almond silvers.
While still warm, cut into squares or dimond shape.
Cool and enjoy
