  • 5 matzos

  • 1 cup margarine

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

  • 1 cup almonds (kosher for Passover)

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C)

  2. Line a half-sheet baking pan with aluminum foil

  3. Distribute the matzos on the baking sheet. Make sure to fill any gaps with Matzo pieces as needed

  4. Add the margarine and brown sugar to a small saucepan and cook over medium-high heat properly until the better is melted, while stirring constantly

  5. Keep cooking and stirring the mixture for around 3 minutes

  6. Slowly pour the mixture over your matzos (be careful, it's hot!)

  7. Spread the mixture on the matzos evenly with a spatula

  8. Bake in the oven for around 15 minutes in 350°F (175°C) until golden brown

  9. Remove the matzos from the oven and cover them with dark chocolate chips

  10. Let the chocolate melt for 5 minutes, and spread the melted chocolate with a spatula.

  11. Sprinkle toasted or roasted almonds on top

  12. Let the brittle cool down for about 35-40 minutes. Then break it into pieces and store them in an airtight container.
