When my daughter made these for Yom Tov, the recipe was quickly passed around between cousins, neighbors & workmates. And now to you! Delicious and freeze well.

INGREDIENTS













  • 36 Yitzy squares










  • 1 diced onion










  • 1 pkg cabbage










  • 1 pkg smoked turkey breast strips - diced










  • 1 pkg pastrami strips - diced










  • 1 Tbsp ketchup










  • 1 Tbsp mayonaise










  • 1 Tbsp mustard










  • 1 pinch black pepper










  • 0 sesame seeds










  • 0 duck sauce










  • 3 mini cupcake pans










  1. Layout the pans on a cookie sheet (to catch the oil spill while baking).
    sauté onions in oil until golden. Add the cabbage, sauté for 10-12 minutes. Add diced cold cuts & sprinkle pepper. sauté for half hour on low flame. Cool until lukewarm. Make paste from mayo. ketchup & mustard. Add to cabbage




  2. mixture in pot. Combine well. Using mini scooper, place heaping portion in center of each square. Pinch corners together in center to form a ball. Spray the pan with oil & place seam side down in the sprayed mini pan. Brush tops with duck sauce. Bake on 350^ for 45 minutes. Cool. (can freeze)
