INGREDIENTS

  • 36 Frozen roll dough or frozen bread dough

  • 64 oz Oil for deep frying

  • 3 cup Jam, caramel confectionary sugar

  1. Let frozen rolls (or loaf dough made into roll size balls) defrost & rise following package directions.

  2. Drop a few balls (as many as fit in deep fryer or pot filled halfway with oil). They will float to top, so leave enough room. Turn over after bottom golden color. Fry till both sides golden brown. Will cook quickly once oil is hot enough.

  3. Drain excess oil. Let cool. You can then dip in confectionary sugar till well coated. You can pipe in jelly, caramel, chocolate or whatever filling you want before coating in sugar. If not using right away, keep in freezer till ready to use. Tastes best same day, or same day as taken out of freezer.

  4. May need extra dusting of confectionary sugar after taking out of freezer.
