This recipe is foolproof. It doesn’t matter how much ketchup to brown sugar, the order you put it in or if you use garlic powder. The main thing is to use all ingredients. This freezes great and could be prepared weeks in advance.

Just made this recipe last night for the holidays. It smelled so good, that we had to take off a couple of slices to taste. WOW! what a great recipe! It was so unbelievably easy and took no effort on my part. Thanks. Will be using this now as my main meat for all occasions. I will submit a picture of the roast sliced and ready to go!

I like to bake this even longer in the oven. I usually bake it 4 hours or more. The longer it bakes the softer it gets.
