Lettuce salad with deli, and garlic-mustard dressing. Adapted from a recipe in Kosher By Design, by Susie Fishbein.

INGREDIENTS













  • 1 (8 oz) pkg. romaine lettuce










  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved










  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced










  • 6 oz cold cuts, such as turkey pastrami, sliced in strips










  • 3 Tbsp mayonnaise










  • ¼ cup olive oil










  • 1½ tsp sugar










  • ¼ tsp black pepper










  • 1 Tbsp parsley flakes










  • 1 tsp prepared mustard










  • 2 garlic cubes










  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice










  1. Mix lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and cold cuts in large salad bowl.



  2. Mix dressing ingredients together and pour over salad. Toss to coat.
