These potatoes are so scrumptious, and are really simple to make. They are the perfect side dish for any day regular dinner, or can even be used for a party or nice sheva brachos. Think chanukah where the whole fam is together and you're making lots of dairy food :) These will definitely go over well! At least, I'm obsessed with them :)

INGREDIENTS













  • 6 potatoes










  • - salt










  • - pepper










  • 3 Tbsp butter










  • 1½ Tbsp onion soup mix










  • 1 cup milk










  • - mozzarella cheese










  1. Slice the potatoes into chips (not too thin), smear some butter or maragarine (a dot) on each potato and arrange in layers in a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle each layer with seasoning.



  2. Combine milk and soup mix in a sauce pan and heat. Then pour over the potatoes.



  3. Bake uncovered for about an hour on 350. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese (you can put back in oven for another couple of minutes till cheese is all melted)
