This is a one bowl EASY supper and it freezes well too.

INGREDIENTS













  • 1 pkg ground meat (1-1.5 lbs)










  • 1 egg










  • ½ cup bread crumbs or matzah meal










  • - squirt of ketchup










  • 1 small onion diced










  • 2 Tbsp sugar










  • 1 tsp salt










  • - few shakes of pepper and garlic










  • 2 cans tomato sauce










  • 2 cans worth of water










  • 1 box pasta (Rigatoni is best)










  1. Chop/mix meat with egg, crumbs, onion, sugar, salt, garlic, pepper.. till you have a nice meatball mixture. Pour in 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce and 2 cans worth of water. Mix well



  2. Add the box of RAW pasta. Pour into 9x13. Pour rest of tomato sauce on top. Bake covered at 350 for about 1 1/2 hours or a bit more. Don't overbake or it will dry out.



  3. If you freeze this, defrost it covered in the oven on 325 for about one hour. Maybe add water so it doesn't dry out
