INGREDIENTS













  • 1 onion










  • 1 Tbsp pickling spice










  • 1 tsp salt










  • ½ cup sugar










  • 1.5 cup water










  • ¾ cup vinegar










  • 4 slices or steaks of fish - salmon, pike, white










  1. Slice onion into pot.



  2. Add the rest of the ingredients



  3. Bring to a boil then lower flame to simmer for 1 hour.



  4. Serve hot or cold
