This kugel is so delicious and relatively easy to make. Ever since I made it for the first time I never went back to regular potato kugel. . My husband says this is called real Oneg Shabbos. And as a side bonus, I wash away my processor on Thursday evening with the supper dishes and dont have to take it out on Friday again. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 Potatoes

  • 8 eggs

  • 1 cup oil

  • ½ cup hot water

  • 3 tsp salt

  • 1 pinch pepper to taste

  1. Process the potatoes with the kugel blade and mix with the rest of the ingredients

  2. Pour into a 9x13 Pan and bake uncovered on 350 for 2 hours.

  3. After 2 hours, remove pan from oven Lower the oven to 220. Wrap the pan 3 times with silver foil. Place a pan of water on the lower shelf of the oven and put the kugel on the upper shelf. Let it bake in the oven overnight.
Wake up to a yummy smell of fresh kugel in your kitchen.

  4. * I have a small family so I do half the recipe in a much smaller pan. The baking time is the same and its equally delicious
