INGREDIENTS













  • 1½ cup oil










  • 1 egg










  • ½ garlic clove (optional)










  • 2½ Tbsp lemon juice (juice of ½ lemon)










  • ¼ tsp salt










  • 1 pinch black pepper










  1. Add oil to a tall jar. Add garlic, lemon juice, egg, salt and pepper.



  2. Insert the immersion blender and blend, without moving the blender, for 2 minutes.



  3. When the mixture begins to thicken, move the immersion blender up and down until mayonnaise is emulsified.
