Finger lickin good!! These are a great appetizer for a milchig meal and they look great arranged on a plate with a small bowl of marinara sauce in the center. If you don't have ready sauce just combine tomato sauce with spices and use that to dip the sticks into. You can also use a block of cheese cut into sticks.

INGREDIENTS













  • 1 mozzarella cheese sticks










  • ½ cup cornstarch










  • 1 egg










  • ½ cup flavored breadcrumbs










  1. Dip sticks into cornstarch and shake off excess.



  2. Dip into beaten egg, then in flavored breadcrumbs. I've used cornflakes with added spices and got delicious results too



  3. Heat oil in small saucepan. Fry sticks for a few seconds on each side until crispy



  4. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

For best results, double dip the sticks. Also its good to freeze the sticks at least 1/2 hour before frying. I also served with marinara sauce as a dipping.
