
This combines my favorite pie crust and topping. Yummm.... This couldn't get better, it makes three pies so enjoy pulling one out of the freezer and serve as a Shabbos side dish or as dessert with ice cream and butterscotch sauce.

INGREDIENTS
2 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
½ cup oil
2 eggs
7 cortland apples
6 Tbsp apricot jam
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup margerine
2 cup brown sugar
2 cup flour
4 tsp cinnamon
Place the first six ingredients in a bowl and combine by hand until crumbly.
Divide the crumbs among three 9" round pans and press down evenly.
Peel and slice apples thinly. Combine the apples with the jam and 1 tsp cinnamon. Divide among the three pans.
Combine the margerine with brown sugar, 2 c flour and 4 tsp cinnamon together and crumble on top of pies.
Bake on 350 until the crumbs are browned and the filling in bubbling at the edges of the pan.
