Absolutely delicious and beautiful to present!
Elegant and yet so simple to make...
¾ cup Ground Almonds
2 lb Cream Cheese
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1¾ cup Sugar
⅛ tsp Almond extract
2 oz Unsweetened chocolate melted
⅓ cup Graham cookie crumbs
Place crumbs in bottom of an 8 inch round and 3 inch high container.
Beat together the cheese, vanilla and sugar. Add eggs one at a time.
Remove 2 cups of mixture, add almond extract and nuts and combine together.
Place on top of crumbs and freeze for one hour.
Take another 2 cups of batter, mix in the melted chocolate and put on top of first layer.
Freeze for one hour.
Put remaining mixture on top as the third layer.
Bake for 1 hour 50 mins in water bath.
To decorate you can use any topping - I lile to use caramel cream with choc swirls on top as decoration.
