Chocolate peanut butter cookies

These cookies are soft and yummy. They explode with flavor, and different textures. You can use chunky peanut butter for a new twist.

INGREDIENTS

½ cup oil

½ cup sugar

½ cup brown sugar

1 Tbsp cocoa

2 eggs

1 Tbsp vanilla extract/sugar

1½ cup flour

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

¼ cup confectioner sugar

½ cup chocolate chips

½ cup creamy peanut butter

Mix the first 9 ingredients in a mixer, in one bowl.

Mix the last 3 ingredients by hand in a separate bowl

Place both bowls in fridge for a 1/2 hour, then mix by hand the two mixtures just to marbleize slightly.

Bake on 350 for 10 min , either on parchment paper or with baking spray. Will come out looking slightly under baked. Let cool.

After refrigerating the dough, it was challenging to mix them together (maybe I left them in the fridge too long.) They do taste great! I already ate too many. My family prefers a crunchy cookie and these are very soft. I think eating them straight out of the freezer might work for us.

The batter was delicious but way too runny. I also probably should of baked it for less than 10 minutes , as they came out crunchy. I would suggest 7-8 minutes and checking on it. Otherwise, the taste was delicious, and the marbelized peanut butter was delsih!

Delicious cookies. Very rich. As with most peanut butter baked goods, you can't eat too much of it.
