I use this recipe for holiday and special occasion meals. You can use any cut of veal slices. I prefer to use veal chops. It just looks more elegant and special. My family and guests love it. I've even made this recipe using chicken cutlets. Just reduce the amount of time it bakes.

RECIPE
#571
INGREDIENTS
6 veal chops
1 large onion
1 (8 oz) can sliced mushrooms
¾ cup good quality white wine
2 Tbsp chicken soup mix
- salt & pepper to taste
- oil
- sprinkle of fresh cut parsley
- flour
Season veal with salt and pepper. Fry quickly on both sides in frying pan with some oil.
Remove from pan and place in roasting pan.
In the same frying pan(do not wash out-use the oil from veal) saute cut up onion until soft. Add drained mushrooms. Let cook 5 minutes. Continue to add rest of ingredients except flour. Cook another 5 minutes. Keep mixing. Slowly mix in flour and cook until sauce thickens.
Pour sauce over veal chops. Cover and bake in oven at 350 for 1 1/2-2 hours. Uncover and bake an additional 20 minutes. If you want to freeze and serve at a later time, do not uncover and bake until ready to serve.
