Think home-style chocolate chip cookies and this is what comes to mind! This is the real deal! It needs quite a bit of ingredients but nothing to fancy. You can omit the coconuts or pecans if there are some picky eaters around, but honestly they add so much flavor and whoever takes one cookie always comes back for a second!

INGREDIENTS













  • 3 cup flour










  • 1 Tbsp baking powder










  • 1 Tbsp baking soda










  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon










  • 1 tsp salt










  • 3 (4 oz) stick margarine










  • 1½ cup sugar










  • 1½ cup brown sugar










  • 3 eggs










  • 1 tsp vanilla extract










  • 3 cup oats










  • 3 cup chocolate chips










  • 2 cup shredded coconut










  • 2 cup chopped pecans










  1. Mix margarine and sugar.



  2. Add eggs and vanilla.



  3. Add dry ingredients.



  4. Add chocolate chips, coconut and pecans.




  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 350.




  6. Hearty appetite!
