Great change from the typical chocolate chip biscottis. Play around with the nuts and chocolate chips to your liking.
½ cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup dark chocolate chips
¼ cup white chocolate chips
¼ cup slivered almonds (toasted)
¼ cup craisins
¼ cup toasted pecans
Beat the eggs with the sugar. Add oil and mix well.
Mix baking powder into the flour and add to mixer. Add salt and extract and mix well. Add nuts, craisins, and chocolate chips by hand.
Wet hands. Form 2 football logs and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 350 degrees.
Let cool. Cut the logs into 1" slices and turn them over to the side. Rebake for 10 minutes.
