I always make this recipe when I have apples with a few brown spots that no one wants to eat. Not only do I use up the extra apples, the house smells terrific too! Please be sure to read through the recipe and add the ingredients in the correct order, it makes a big difference in this recipe. Don't be scared off though, this recipe is simple to make, I've been making it since I was twelve. The ingredients are all things you woud normally have in your pantry.
