This makes a great dessert with ice cream. You can also put them into a glass bowl in the middle of the table for everyone to munch on. Feel free to experiment with different toppings.
1 box honey graham crackers (14.4 oz)
1½ sticks margarine
½ cup brown sugar
⅛ tsp salt
1½ cup chocolate chips
- carmelized nuts
Lay out the crackers in a single layer on a cookie sheet.
Ina small saucepan combine the margarine, brown sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil and pour over the crackers. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove from oven and while it's still hot pour the chocolate chips over the crackers. return to oven for 2 minutes.
Spread the melted chocolate chips over the entire cookie sheet and sprinkle with the nuts.
Let cool and freeze. When frozen break into bite size pieces. Store in freezer.
