A change from the typical sweet and sour marinated salmon.
8 slices salmon fillet
1 purple onion (sliced)
1 cup ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup duck sauce
4 Tbsp vinegar
3 Tbsp lemon juice
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place salmon pieces inside and let simmer for 15 minutes. Spill out water. When cool, transfer salmon to container.
Add rest of ingredients to the pot. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Pour over fish and refrigerate. (Best if it sits for a day or two.)
