The pecans and cinnamon give the ordinary lukshin kugel an interesting flavor. It also makes a pretty presentation on the plate.
2 9" round pans
½ cup margarine
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup pecans (chopped)
1 pack medium noodles, 400 grams
½ tsp cinnamon
½ cup sugar
½ tsp salt
Melt the margarine. Add the brown sugar and chopped nuts and mix. Place on bottom of 9" round pan and set aside.
Cook the noodles and drain. Let cool. Add eggs, cinnamon, sugar and salt and mix.
Pour mixture on top of nuts and bake for 1 hour at 350*F.
To serve, invert the kugel so pecans are on top.
