Warm, delicious, and cinnamony. Either cold or right from the oven. It is warm and inviting, especially for the fall or winter. I always add more cinnamon, as it just tastes and smells so much better.

INGREDIENTS













  • 3 tart apples-peeled & sliced










  • 3 Tbsp water










  • 3 Tbsp oatmeal










  • 3 Tbsp sugar










  • ΒΌ tsp cinnamon










  • 2 Tbsp butter or margarine










  1. Place apples in a greased 1qt square baking dish; pour water over sliced apples.
    In a bowl, mix oatmeal, sugar, andd cinnamon. Cut in the butter or margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.




  2. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degree oven for 25 - 30 minutes or until the apples are fork tender.




  3. You can garnish with whipping cream, or ice cream if desired.
    This is for 2 or 3 servings.
