If you ever ate in the restaurant of the Ave Plaza hotel in Brooklyn NY (closed down a while back) and you've tasted this recipe, I'm sure you've been looking for it since then. Not sure that this is the recipe, but it tastes exactly like it. This recipe won second place in a contest Hamodia magazine in conjunction with the Peppermill store. Recipe by Malky Grussgott.

- oil for frying
¾ cup hot and spicy duck sauce

½ tsp salt
1 pinch garlic powder
1 pinch paprika

Preheat the oven to 350F. Place the fried tilapia nuggets into a 9x13inch baking dish.
Combine the sauce ingredients and pour over the nuggets. Bake covered for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 25 minutes until it looks a bit crispy.
