
My grandmother makes her own strawberry jam. I can close my eyes and feel the taste... nothing like it! (add a teaspoon to your apple compot on shabbos or just spread on fresh bread, if you are a sweet addict like me.... just eat it with a spoon) you might want to cook this jam just for the smell while cooking...

Wash the strawberries and clean, removing stem.
Squeeze the lemon over the strawberries.
Cook strawberries and sugar on a very low flame for a few hours until ready.
