Excellent and easy to work with dough! Use it for Babka, kokush cake, danishes... with a variety of fillings! The dough freezes wonderfully, many times I will freeze the dough in parts and then defrost a section it and bake it - the house smells delicious with freshly baked...

INGREDIENTS













  • 2 oz dry yeast










  • 2 cup water










  • ⅓ cup sugar










  • 7 cup flour










  • 2 eggs










  • 1 cup sugar










  • 1 cup oil










  • 1 Tbsp vanilla sugar










  • ½ tsp salt










  1. Activate the yeast with water and sugar



  2. Mix remaining ingredients, then add the activated yeast.



  3. Refrigerate dough



  4. Roll dough very thin!!



  5. spread a bit of oil



  6. generously spread filling of choice



  7. Roll into desired shape (Babka, rugelach, danishes...)



  8. Brush with egg and top it with crumbs
