Excellent and easy to work with dough! Use it for Babka, kokush cake, danishes... with a variety of fillings! The dough freezes wonderfully, many times I will freeze the dough in parts and then defrost a section it and bake it - the house smells delicious with freshly baked...
2 oz dry yeast
2 cup water
⅓ cup sugar
7 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup oil
1 Tbsp vanilla sugar
½ tsp salt
Activate the yeast with water and sugar
Mix remaining ingredients, then add the activated yeast.
Roll dough very thin!!
spread a bit of oil
generously spread filling of choice
Roll into desired shape (Babka, rugelach, danishes...)
Brush with egg and top it with crumbs
