INGREDIENTS













  • 1 lb ground beef










  • ½ carrot, shredded










  • 3 Tbsp onion soup mix










  • 6 Tbsp bread crumbs










  • 10 precut flaky dough squares










  1. Saute beef in oil and crumble until well cooked; while cooking add carrots, onion soup mix, and bread crumbs. Mix well.




  2. Fill flaky dough with plenty of meat, pinch edges closed and brush with eggs. Bake on 350F for 1/2 or until golden.

I had some ground meat left over and needed a dinner that I could leave in the oven for a couple of hours. These meat pockets were the perfect solution. Everyone loved them. After I made them I left them uncovered in the oven at 175 and they turned out to be one of my most well-liked dinners.
