Drizzle over ice cream or a fresh-fruit cup.
1 (15 oz) can pineapple tidbits in juice
¼ cup honey
2 Tbsp orange juice
1 tsp orange zest
½ cup water
1 Tbsp potato starch
Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Place the juice in a 2-quart saucepan. Set the pineapple tidbits aside. Add honey, orange juice, and orange zest to the saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
In a cup, mix the water and potato starch. Add the starch mixture to the saucepan. Cook and stir for 2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Stir in the pineapple.
Makes a little less than 2 cups.
