I got this recipe from my sister in law. She said she is sharing a healthy granola recipe. I tried it, and its really good, but I would call it a healthier version of peanut butter squares. It calls for whole wheat flour and oats- if that makes it healthy....(!)
Another bonus-It can be made easily without a mixer.

  • 1 cup sugar (can use drop less)

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • ¾ cup oil

  • 3 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 eggs

  • ⅔ cup peanut butter

  • 1 cup flour

  • ¾ cup whole wheat flour

  • 2 cup oatmeal

  • ¼ tsp baking soda

  • ⅛ tsp salt

  • 8 oz chocolate chips

  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter

  1. Combine sugar, oil, vanilla, eggs, and peanut butter.

  2. Add rest of ingredients till the chocolate chips.

  3. Spread in lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes

  4. Remove from oven. While it is hot, scatter chocolate chips on top. Return to oven for 1 minute. This will allow the chocolate chips to melt.

  5. Take out of the oven, and drop peanut butter in 1/2 tsp fulls. Swirl into chocolate, and spread.

  6. Cut into squares when cool
