INGREDIENTS













  • 1 lb ground chicken










  • 2 eggs










  • 1 potato, cooked and mashed










  • 1 potato, grated raw










  • 1 tsp salt










  • ½ tsp garlic powder










  • ½ tsp onion powder(or onion, diced and sauteed)










  • ½ cup matza meal










  • 1 squash, diced or grated (optional)










  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.



  2. Fry in hot oil on both sides, until golden brown.



  3. Enjoy!

Great recipe! I made it twice, once fried, and once baked. The fried ones tasted better, of course, but the baked one were delicious too! Make sure to add the grated squash- don't leave it out !

Just a suggestion -- add a grated pear for more moist patties. And the matzah meal can be omitted for non-gebrokhts patties.
