INGREDIENTS













  • 1 PK FLAKY DOUGH










  • 2 lb FARMER CHEESE (JJ BRAND)










  • 1 lb COTTAGE CHEESE (MEHADRIN BRAND)










  • 1 VANILLA SUGAR










  • 4 YOLKS










  • ½ cup FLOUR










  • 5 Tbsp LEMON JUICE










  • 3 cup SUGAR (ADD LAST)










  1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350^. THIS RECIPE IS GOOD FOR 10 X 16 PAN. DEFROST & ROLL OUT LARGER HALF OF FLAKY DOUGH AND LINE PAN WITH DOUGH. ROLL OUT OTHER HALF OF DOUGH & CUT 3/4" STRIPS.



  2. PREPARE CHEESE MIXTURE BY COMBINING ALL INGREDIENTS WELL, ADDING SUGAR THE VERY LAST. POUR CHEESE MIXTURE OVER THE DOUGH IN PAN. USING THE CUT STRIPS OF DOUGH, MAKE A CRISSCROSS DESIGN ON TOP.



  3. BRUSH WITH BEATEN EGG,. BAKE 1 HOUR UNTIL TOP IS GOLDEN. COOL. DOUBLE WRAP BEFORE FREEZING.
