I sent this pepper steak to a few friends after they gave birth and all of them said that they have never before had such SOFT and delicious steak!!!!!!

INGREDIENTS













  • ¼ cup oil










  • 1 cup water










  • 2 Tbsp onion soup mix










  • 1 tsp sugar










  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce










  • ½ tsp ginger powder










  • 2 red peppers










  • 2 green peppers










  • 2 onions










  1. combine all ingredients, except for vegetables, in a pot and heat on low flame.



  2. add steak and cook for 3 hours.



  3. cube vegetables and sautee (in a seperate pot) in a bit of oil until soft.



  4. When steak is ready, add soft vegetables along with 2 Tbsp cornstarch diluted in a drop of water. cook an additional 3 minutes and it´s all done!!!!

Thanks for this version of pepper steak. I usually make it a quick 30 min supper but this version the meat becomes so tender..Heaven! Use the Ginger it adds that Kick!

I thought the flavor and taste was faboulous and my kids loved it. I rated it four starts since it's missing the amount of pepper steak. I asuumed it was 1-11/2 lb but wasn't sure. Although I had to use two pots (the second to saute the peppers and onions) it made the vegetables really taste great. I omitted the ginger, since we're not fans of ginger. I will definitely make this again.
