My mother in law's delicious and simple marble cake recipe

INGREDIENTS













  • 6 Eggs










  • 1 (1¾ cup) sugar










  • 1 (2 cup) Flour










  • 1 (1 tsp) baking soda










  • 1 Package (or scoop of vanilla sugar)










  • 1 (1 cup) Oil










  • 1 (1 tsp) almond extract (optional)










  • 1 (⅔ cup) chocolate syrup










  1. Mix eggs, sugar, flour, baking soda, oil, vanilla sugar, and extract (optional) in a bowl



  2. Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan



  3. Add the chocolate syrup to the bowl containing the remaining half of the batter and mix well



  4. pour the now-chocolate batter on top of the batter in the bundt pan and using a knife, swirl the two batters together gently. do not over-stir.



  5. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour (note: this recipe is too big for the *disposable* tube pans!)
