DISSOLVE YEAST & SUGAR IN WARM COFFEE WHITENER. PLACE IN MIXER. ADD SOFTENED MARGARINE (1 MIN IN MICRO UNTIL 3/4 MELTED - SHOULD NOT BE THICK GLOB). ADD 1/2 C FLOUR AT A TIME, MIX, ADD SALT TO THE LAST 1/2 C FLOUR, MIX WELL FOR 5-10 MINUTES UNTIL SMOOTH DOUGH.
MIX BY HAND ANOTHER MINIUTE. GREASE BOWL, PLACE IN DOUGH, COVER BOWL WITH DAMP TOWEL & RISE FOR 1 HR UNTIL DOUBLE IN SIZE. DIVIDE DOUGH IN 2 BALLS (PER RECIPE). ROLL OUT 1/4" (NOT TOO THIN). CUT PIZZA PIE STYLE BUT INTO 10 OR 12 STRIPS. SMEAR DOUGH WITH OIL, SPRINKLE SALT & ONIONS.
ROLL UP EACH STRIP LIKE A RUGELEH, TUCKING THE END UNDER. SHAPE THE ROLL INTO SEMI CRESENT (SIDES). BRUSH WITH BEATEN EGG, SPRINKLE SESAME SEEDS & SOME DICED ONIONS ON TOP. BAKE ON 400^ FOR 20 MINUTES. COOL. FREEZE IN DOUBLE BAGS. REWARM BEFORE SERVING ON 350^ FOR 5 MIIN.
