  • 8 lb FLOUR










  • ¾ cup SUGAR










  • 1 cup LUKEWARM WATER










  • 2 oz YEAST










  • 2 STICKS MARGARINE










  • ½ cup OIL










  • ¾ cup ORANGE JUICE










  • 2 Tbsp VANILLA SUGAR










  • 2 WHOLE EGGS










  • 2 YOLKS (RESERVE WHITES)










  • 1 cup RICH COCOA










  • 2 cup SUGAR










  • 1 cup CONFECTION SUGAR










  • ½ Tbsp VANILLA SUGAR










  • 1 LEMON RIND - ZEST










  • 3 Tbsp LEMON'S JUICE










  • 1 tsp CINNAMON










  • 1 Tbsp RUM










  • ½ STICK MARGARINE










  • ½ cup FLOUR










  • ⅓ cup SUGAR










  1. PLACE 8 CUPS FLOUR IN MIXER. MAKE WELL. IN SEP BOWL, MIX SUGAR, YEAST & WATER, PLACE INTO WELL OF FLOUR & ALLOW TO SIT 5 MINUTES. ADD THE REST OF INGRED (5-10) FOR DOUGH, RESERVING THE EGG WHITES AS NOTED. MIX 10 MINUTES UNTIL DOUGH IF FORMED. COVER & RISE 1 HR. DIVIDE INTO 4 PARTS. ROLL OUT 1 PART.



  2. SMEAR THE DOUGH WITH EGG WHITES, THEN OIL, AND 1 C OF COCOA MIXTURE. SPRINLE OF LEMON ZEST, LEMON JUICE & RUM. ROLL UP JELLY ROLL STYLE. PLACE IN PAN FOR BABKE OR CUT 1 1/2" SLICES FOR BUNS. RISE 1/2 HR. BRUSH TOP WITH 1 EGG MIXED WITH SOME WATER. SPRINKLE ON STREISEL MIXTURE.



  3. BAKE ON 350^ AS FOLLOWS: FOR BUNS 25-30 MINUTES MAXIMUM. FOR BABKE, 40-45 MINUTES. COOL. FREEZES BEAUTIFULLY. WILL TASTE SOFT EVEN FROM FREEZER!
