Don't like using raw eggs? Don't like using whipped topping? Here is a quick and easy frozen dessert that is harmless. It is a little on the sweet side, so you can feel free to play around with it if you care to make it tarter.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 apple juice concentrate can, frozen

  • 1 banana, frozen

  • 16 oz frozen berries

  1. In large blender or food processor, blend ingredients together. Some berries like raspberries have seeds so those you might want to process separately and separate using a sieve (or you can have the seeds in them and crunch :)). Strawberry seeds don't seem to be problematic.

  2. Place in a freezable storage container and freeze. The frozen banana makes it creamy, so there is no need to reprocess.

  3. Depending on the sweetness of the berries, some lemon juice may be added to balance the sweetness of the apple juice concentrate, but if the berries are tart, this is not necessary.
