Make your own hummus, cheap, easy, and tastes delicious
2 (14 oz) Cans of chickpeas
⅓ cup Tahina
¼ cup Lemon juice
1 tsp Salt
2 Cloves of garlic, halved
2 Tbsp Olive oil
1 pinch Paprika
1 tsp Minced fresh parsley
Place the chickpeas, tahina, lemon juice, salt and garlic in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl.
Drizzle olive oil over the mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.
Can add more garlic or remove to taste. The amount listed here makes quite a garlicy dip.
