This is by far my favorite minute steak recipe. It is a nice change from all the sweet and sour recipes with loads of ketchup and brown sugar. This recipe is tangy and delicious!
4-6 slices minute steak
10 cloves garlic
¼ cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar
¼-½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
¼ cup chicken soup
2 Tbsp flour
1½ cup water (or more chicken soup)
- salt and pepper to taste
In a large, deep frying pan sautee sliced garlic in oil.
Add the rest of ingredients (besides for flour) and bring to a boil.
Mix flour with a little water till smooth, add to rest of ingredients.
Add minute steak, lower heat and let cook on stove top for 2 hours.
You can also put the meat in a foil pan, pour over sauce and bake in the oven for 2 hours on 350F. Enjoy!
