This recipe is so easy and will get you LOADS of compliments. It's really delicious.
2-½-3 lb brisket
6 onions, slices
- baby carrots or regular carrots, peeled and chopped
½ packet of onion soup mix, or a few teaspoons
1-1½ cup sweet kiddush wine
- oil, to sear meat in
Sear brisket in oil until brown on all sides.
In a foil packet (or a pan lined with foil to make your own), add the brisket, onions, carrots, onion soup mix and wine.
Seal the packet well.
Cook at 400F for 2-3 hours.
Tastes better the next day.
